Asceneth had a brother Joseph that served in the Civil War, and a sister Sarah (b. 1 Aug 1842 Sandusky Co., OH; d. 21 Dec 1909 Troy Twp., Wood Co., OH) who married Jonathan Brough. Asceneth married (2) Conrad Miller, they moved to Gratiot County, MI ca. 1872; where she died 21 Feb 1886.
Sarah Jane Amsden married Charles Wesley Hastings of Parkertown, OH on 1 Jan 1872, and they followed Sarah's mother and stepfather to Michigan. Sarah died 18 Feb 1918 in Maple Rapids, MI.
